For Idaho State University students with a need to print a dissertation, family photos, posters for a club event or business cards, the Total Copy Center in the Pond Student Union Building is the place to go. Having trouble with a book binding? The Total Copy Center can also rebind textbooks.
“We’re cheaper than anybody in town,” said Wes Clezie, supervisor of print reprographics at the Total Copy Center.
The center is located on the second floor of the PSUB and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Students can bring print jobs on CD, flash drive or as hard copies.
Students can also upload files using the electronic link at tcc.netel.isu.edu and then call 282-4442 or request the job in person.
The resources offered by the Total Copy Center are of great use to students, said Clezie.
“I would say we probably see several hundred [students] monthly,” he said.
Total Copy CenterWith over 20 types of résumé paper, students seeking employment can stop by the Total Copy Center to print a professional-looking résumé. Student organizations can choose from more than 40 different colors for printing posters.
“I have six different colors of pink,” said Clezie. “We always stock ISU orange.”
The center can create pamphlets, laminates and booklets. Students can send faxes locally, nationally and internationally through the Total Copy Center, an option Clezie said makes the shop popular with international students.
“We have five employees,” said Clezie. “We’re in charge of all of the copiers on campus in six cities, from Idaho Falls to Montpelier.”
Clezie said that there are 118 copiers on the Pocatello campus alone, and 130 copiers that belong to ISU in total. The university has $2.5 million invested in copy and print machines.
Clezie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from ISU ten years ago and has since applied his design skills to supervising the Total Copy Center.
