Taylor Meeks named Second-Team All-Conference

Taylor Meeks has been named second-team All-Conference as announced by the Big Sky on Monday afternoon.

The junior middle blocker led the Bengals in attacking percentage (.327)  and was consistently in the top-five Big Sky leader board in attacking percentage throughout the season. She also produced 86 blocks accounting for a team-high .97 blocks per set.

Meeks recorded two matches above a .600 attack percentage, once against Weber State (.696) on Nov. 5 and again at Portland State (.630) on Nov. 14. She twice tallied a season-high eight blocks against UT Arlington on Sept. 14 and again vs. Portland State on Oct. 12.

“This is a much-deserved recognition for Taylor’s athletic contribution to our program,” said head coach Sammi Stuart. “Taylor plays a big part of what we are trying to do at Idaho State.”
