The Bengals have played well this fall but still have a ways to go before the spring season starts leading towards the playoffs. I feel we have the team to repeat as conference champions and once again make the playoffs as we did last year. We are stronger and have a very good bench.
On Oct. 20, twelve members of the club competed in the USA Rugby sanctioned National Collegiate Rugby 7’s Tournament in Seattle. The win against Montana State demonstrated the depth that the club has. The 7’s team went 2-2 at the tournament.
The Bengals are ranked 17th in the nation for Division II by Rugby Magazine and look to move up in the ranking this spring.
Everyone on the team has contributed a great deal to the team’s success and they look forward to being even stronger in the spring.
