These simple recipes and meal suggestions should fit right into your budget and time constraints quite nicely!

This week’s meal idea is :

Ramen Stir Fry

Super easy and inexpensive, yet filling and satisfying.

What you need :

1 pound of ground meat of your choice  Approx. $3

2 packages of ramen noodles (flavor of your choice) Approx. $1

1 package of stir fry vegetables

2 ½ cups of water

(optional extras are green onion, ginger or any other frozen or precooked vegetable of your choice, soy sauce)

What to do :

  1. Cook your ground meat fully, drain fat, stir in flavor pack from one of your ramen noodles until thoroughly blended, remove meat from pan and set aside

  2. Using the same pan,add water, noodles vegetables,(1/4 tsp ground ginger,1/12 chopped green onions) and blend in second flavor packet. Stir in cooked meat.

  3. Bring contents to a boil, reduce to a simmer for approximately 3 ½ minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not overcook noodles.

  4. You are all set! Enjoy!
