Brooke Barber
Director of Orientation, Leadership and Service
Welcome, new Bengals. We are thrilled that you have decided to attend Idaho State University this fall semester.
Whether you are a brand new college student or a transfer student from a different institution, we know that you will find ISU to be an institution deeply committed to the student experience, inside and out of the classroom.
New Student Orientation (NSO) is a program designed to support the transition of our newest Bengals. During this program, you will have the chance to dine with faculty of your intended academic program, experience campus traditions such as “March Through the Arch,” which symbolizes your entrance into ISU, meet other new students through social events like “Bengal Bash” and “Party at the Pond” and meet orientation leaders who are excited to guide you as you start your fall semester. Through this program, you will truly begin your Bengal journey.
NSO programs are offered at the Pocatello campus and each of the Idaho State outreach centers in Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, and Meridian. We hope that you will save the date and join us with your family. For more details and to sign up, visit isu.edu/nso.
