Lyn Redington
Vice President for Student Affairs
I am happy you have chosen to become a member of the Bengal family. Whether you are new to the ISU community or continuing your educational journey, Idaho State University and the Division of Student Affairs will partner with you as you stretch to reach your academic and personal goals.
As the Vice President for Student Affairs, I have the opportunity to support you and your success, both in and out of the classroom. The Division of Student Affairs wants to ensure you have access to the resources and connections you need to make your experience educational and rewarding. This includes learning about strategies for adjusting to college successfully, getting involved on campus and making good choices that support you and your success.
At ISU, you will have the opportunity to explore new opportunities, develop new friendships and follow your passions. We offer more than 150 clubs and organizations, so there is sure to be something that piques your interest. Through these organizations, you will meet people, connect to campus, develop leadership skills, serve the community and have fun. To learn more about ISU’s vibrant student life, I want to personally invite you to visit the Student Organizations Fair on the Quad, August 23.
The Division of Student Affairs is made up of many departments, all designed to enhance your ISU experience. Whether you are living in a residence hall, visiting the Outdoor Adventure Center, playing a game of basketball in Reed Gym, or visiting Hero, the Veteran’s Student Center emotional support dog, you will find a dedicated staff who care about you, your experiences and your success.
I look forward to a wonderful year together.
