The Men’s Tennis team lost to Gonzaga University on Friday March 5 with a match score of 6-1, with a singles win being the only win for the match. Coming back from this defeat to Gonzaga, the Bengals managed to beat the Eastern Washington Eagles in their match on Saturday, March 6 with a 5-2 winning score. ISU took the doubles point against Eastern Washington, picking up wins in all but two of their singles. This brings the team to a 2-8 season play so far in overall matches. The Bengals play again on March 13 against Air Force Academy in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The ISU Women’s team lost to the University of Montana 2-5, taking the doubles point but losing all but one of their singles. This didn’t set the Bengals back though, as they came back with a three match winning streak over their next three opponents starting with a victory against Montana State 5-2. The next two matches saw a 7-0 win for the Bengals in each, against both Dixie State University and The College of Idaho. These consecutive wins bring Idaho State up to a 7-3 overall score for the season so far. The team plays again on March 14 against the Utah State University team here in Pocatello at the Reed Gym.
