The Idaho State University Sexuality and Gender Alliance is pleased to announce “Exploring Trans Visibility”. It will be an educational event, focusing on the Transgender Day of Visibility as well as transgender topics in the state of Idaho and the nation.
This event will include presentations from community members who identify as transgender. They will be presenting on topics of their choice pertaining to the transgender community. They will also be explaining what the significance of Transgender Day of Visibility is to them.
Students from the Idaho State University Social Work department will be presenting on what it means to be an ally to the LGBTQ community, as well as resources available to this community.
“Exploring Trans Visibility” will be held in the Wood River Room in the Pond Student Union building on the Idaho State University campus in Pocatello on March 14 at 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
