United Students Party:
Sam Perry and Kourtney McConnell
Student representatives at Idaho State University should always want to promote Bengal pride and paint this town orange and black.
Kourtney and I strongly believe that, and we come packed with enough Bengal spirit to make any Bengal proud.
However, Bengal pride is no differentiator amongst candidates who want to represent you.
While we agree that yes, spirit is important, it is only a small part of what we, and the United Students party, are going to bring to ISU.
Kourtney and I believe that communication and transparency are critical! We want to promote diversity and establish a service-based leadership approach while in office.
Having a strong leadership background both in and outside of Idaho State University, we both offer experience, knowledge and tested leadership. With contacts on campus as well as in local government, we have learned whom to contact to find the answers to your questions.
We know you are busy. School, work and family are just a few of the commitments that pull you in different directions. Not only will Kourtney and I be extremely accessible when you need us, we will come to you.
We are here to serve you and to make sure your voice and opinions are included in the discussions that involve you.
Classroom visits, active club communication, open forums, social media informational videos and Q&A lunches are just a few ways we plan to achieve ultimate transparency and access.
Your ASISU Student Government ought to be composed of humble representatives committed to working hard for you. Experience is necessary to make sure that your student fees are protected and wisely spent.
Kourtney and I both currently serve within ASISU and are committed to keeping ISU affordable and to expand job opportunities for you and generations to come.
Knowing that the possibility to do more and be more awaits the student body of Idaho State University is an exciting thing!
We offer a multitude of leadership and involvement experiences, prosperous community connections, tested and valued experience and insight to build lasting improvements that will be beneficial for all students, faculty, staff and community members of Idaho State University both now and in the future.
Please remember to vote Perry/McConnell and United Students on March 17 and 18!
